I ended up returning this item via Revain. My grandson could not climb in and out of this object by himself. The distance between the top rails was too small for him to climb on and turn around and look ahead. My grandson at the time was 36 inches tall, weighed 35 pounds and was 20 months old. I ended up getting a two tier stool from Rubbermaid which works well for my needs. I was excited for this product as it appeared to be able to provide a child with plenty of security to stand on their own.
