Review on Trimax T665LY Hardened Metal Disc by Ben Robinson

An excellent lock, the best in electronics

Fits well in my tank bag, the case is heavy and tight to the touch, the bolt is good and thick. The key is a type of key with a lever that makes it very difficult to pick it up. Non-round type used in laptop locks and cheap safes. The backlight on one of the keys is useless, but it only has three keys so nothing to complain about. The bag had a ratchet strap sewn into the rest of the straps making it unusable. I was planning on tying it to my bike to save space in my tank bag, but oh well. I'm thinking of buying a fanny pack and putting it in there. Some users complain about the lock jamming. It's survived three torrential downpours and still looks brand new. Does not stick. If this is the case, a bit of viscous lube on the outer barrel that pops out when unlocked should do the trick. When you close the lid properly, it closes without actually operating the lock, so you can open the lid and install it on the bike without a key, which is a nice touch. Peace of mind as I park in front of my girlfriend's house for the night. Oh, and the tether is long enough to reach the throttle and serves as a visual deterrent to bike thieves.
