Replaced Fitbit Ionic which started glitching (won't automatically sync to phone and then started charging problems). Since I use Samsung phones, I decided to wear a Samsung watch - these and other positive reviews. Where Fitbit syncs to the phone, Samsung literally connects to the phone through a wearable app. If the watch and phone are too far apart for too long, they will complain. Apps on your phone are linked to apps on your watch. I start disabling some notification services in between as they start to get annoying after a while. I don't need to know when every email, message, picture or ad hits my phone. Apps on Samsung watches are much easier to use than on Fitbit. I really like the wireless charging, although the included charging cable is only 2ft long and the charger is not included. I connected the star for the following reasons - the phone in my pocket used to count real steps, not hands. Movement. IE: The watch tells me I've walked more than 18,000 steps, but the phone tells me I've only taken more than 15,000 real steps. Now the phone reports what the watch reports. The only way I've found to fix this is to disable Bluetooth pairing, which disables other app connections. I think I could get another fitness app for my phone to read real steps. The blood pressure reading is 120/80 no matter what the blood pressure monitor tells me otherwise or whether the watch is on my wrist or not. Of course, I might not have used it correctly. And that didn't stop me from enjoying the other features. All in all, it's a goalkeeper.
