Bought this for my mom who has problems with sagging foot and dorsiflexion. Most of their afos are quite uncomfortable and not easy to wear regularly. In addition, they do not allow bending of the ankle when descending stairs. This orthotic saved our lives as it provided enough support to keep the foot straight instead of side to side and then allowed it to move naturally. This not only stabilizes her but also allows her to train her leg for normal use. The only downside I could add is that it doesn't feel super durable, by which I mean it's suitable for casual wear, which is what it's usually meant for, but for occasions like my mum who plans to wear it all day to wear everyday I'm not sure how long it will hold its shape and how long its loops will stay in place. Regardless, even if it breaks, I'd be willing to buy it again given how dramatically her gait changed after wearing it.
