Great buy for a beginner / requires adjustments to make it work

I've been clipping hair since 8th grade so I'm going to give a detailed rundown of both clippers that you can trust. Let's start with the clipper and the pros, the build quality is great, should last a long time, it was 100 percent ready to use, the battery life is great. After a 45-minute shutdown, the battery was at 94 percent. You can't space between the blades, but it cuts well right out of the box. I managed to hide the fading lines without any problems. The guards included in the kit are similar to Val's professional guards, which are the best in the game in my opinion. You don't have to worry about them falling out. The motor sounds like a rotary, but I'm not 100% sure. It's not the most powerful clipper I've ever used, but it has enough power to trim your hair without snagging and comb through your hair from the front with ease. Only downside, the trailing arm has some play and if you're used to clicking the lever on the go, you have to be careful here. The lever seems solid, but for some reason the casting they made in production seems slightly different from the tooling. I'm not sure if this is a quality control issue or if it's just a random set. In general it's fine. Now for the trimmer. On the plus side, the build quality is excellent, as is the battery life. Cons (like), not powerful at all. This is zero clearance from the factory, but you can tighten the zero clearance a little. When I did, they improved. If you know what you're doing, they can get the job done. They should be great for shaving your head, shaving your face if you're razor sensitive, and making baldness go away. Where edges are lacking, be sure to comb/comb the loose hair, paying attention to the natural hairline or beard line and looking at any areas that may need a tip. Overall not a bad trimmer, but not comparable for the price. This is definitely the set to get when learning how to cut your hair and with a few tweaks/modifications it goes well with the top brand hair clippers you can buy.
