Review on 💪 Revolutionize Your Fitness Tracking with Garmin Vívoactive GPS Smartwatch Gunmetal by Alex Barr

It works well, but there are significant downsides. (My second Vivoactive 3 watch)

I bought a refurbished Vivoactive 3 because my previous Vivoactive 3 broke after three years (not the watch's fault, I was pretty rough with it). A recently purchased refurbished watch works well but has a major flaw that is difficult to overlook. Something seems wrong with the watch's USB port. The cable is not fully plugged into the watch. It loads normally (but with a tricky connection). The big problem with the USB connection is that it means the watch is not recognized by any of my computers and therefore cannot connect to the Garmin Express software. Due to this issue I am unable to update outdated firmware which is annoying. I have to assume the clock was repaired with counterfeit hardware if the components don't fit and/or aren't recognized by the computer. I've tried multiple cables on multiple computers with no success. My previous watches still connect to computers instantly. So I know the problem isn't with cables or computers. I'll probably return the watch at some point, but I'll give it a couple of weeks to see if I can get used to it and tolerate the dark hours. Anyway, I don't think it's worth the money I spent on it.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
