Bought for my dads birthday. He said he wanted a simple watch that had a light so he could see at night. There is a button that gives a nice green backlight glow to the clock face. He uses that small glow at night. It stays on for like 10 seconds before he has to hit it again. It took a few minutes but I followed the directions to get rid of that hourly chime (hate that). It looks really nice. Good simple watch that tells time digitally.

Not bad for the price but scratches very easy. I love the black, sleek look. It has all the basics which is what I was exactly looking for. Overall, happy with the price and size of the watch- it’s not too big like most men’s watches.

I bought this as a spare work watch. As a watch collector, I have to say, this thing feels solid. It's lightweight and highly legible. No water has seeped passed the seals yet and my sweat hasn't affected it either. For $13 I honestly can't complain at all. This thing is basically a no name gshock. Very difficult to read without the backlight. To get that, you have to press a button, it only stays on for a couple seconds, and it turns off when you press any other button. Also very big, both the watch itself and the band.

I've had many similar watches to this (black digital sport watches) and this one has a major flaw: when you turn on the backlight, it instantly turns off when you press another button. For example, if you're setting the alarm at night, you will have to push the backlight button like 20 times.

I got this product to use at work (lifeguard) and it has worked perfectly! I tend to have to get in the water a lot and the water-tight seals have held up which is what I needed! highly recommend!

I got this as a gift for my husband who is obsessed with watches! I've gotten him several over the years as presents. This one is nice because it has a durable rubber band. It is solid black so while it is casual he can still wear it to work, he wears business attire. It is also light weight which is nice.

The contrast of grey numbers and letters on a black background is very difficult to see in any environment. While the lighting feature fixes that, the watch then becomes a two-handed device and that is not the general purpose. I will probably return the watch.

I officiate outdoor sports and need a watch that counts down time. Most of the games I do are outdoors and at night under artificial lighting. This watch is nearly impossible to see under those conditions. The viewing angle is approximately 30 degrees. If you aren't in that view you don't see anything. I have many expensive, nice watches. But, there is a lot to recommend this nice cheap watch. It has a very good and readable display. It’s easy to set, keeps great time and has all of the functions you would want. I would be careful around water and I’m not going to test it swimming or showering. I’ve worn it every day over the last week and an very happy with it. A great summer watch. Recommended!

I’m very pleased with the watch i received, i was skeptical because I’ve never heard of the brand name CKE but i thought I’d give it a try, i haven’t worn it a lot because i just got it in the mail, but I’m quite impressed with how easy it is to set and how lightweight it is.
