Review on 🚿 Pfister Avalon S10-400Y 2-Handle Shower Lever Handle Rebuild Kit in Tuscan Bronze, 2.50 x 2.50 x 2.50 inches by Dube Jansen

I purchased this product after representatives from PF (Price Pfister) told me it should be compatible with existing valves, which it is NOT. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Yes, there are valves in the package, but the point was NOT to replace the valves if they didn't need to be replaced! These bronze buttons had a screw that didn't work with the original valve set. So the deco base works and not the handles, that's nicer and I'll live with it until the valve needs to be replaced. Even plastic originals have a gap in the case so it doesn't quite match what I have in the photo either, but it's hard to see. Can't return them as we use baseplates to "mostly" match the new bronze look. Dissatisfied. But PF claims it's compatible and I couldn't buy other brands off the shelf instead because it doesn't work with the pipes and valves that came in the original kit. (The part number is on both boxes in the photo). PF is bad support in my opinion for recommending the wrong parts! I'm so glad I didn't worry about that with the shower head, which is a standard fitting and doesn't have to stay with Price-Pfister (PF).
