The legs are all push pin and latch style or what you might see on speaker stands on a tripod with a "nipple" that snaps into place. Why? You don't need to adjust the height. I know exactly why, because it was cheaper to make this pin and trip post for 3-4 different leg heights but still keep the same mounting arches (obviously the most expensive element in design and manufacture). As a result, my dog had a panic attack. I was wondering why he still chose his other old bed (same style but static footrests) and when I started writing this review he climbed into this new large bed and as he covered himself with the blankets he staggered she just and he almost lost his balance off the edge. This design element is cheap and not announced in advance. "New non-slip feet" is not like that at all. It's just a plastic paw. NO rubber, but slippery plastic. That's why I recommend the K&H brand.
