Wow! Ten Minute Fix and my HP8620 is up and running again!

I spent weeks debating whether to buy a replacement printhead for my HP 8620 or a new printer. The $180 cost of a replacement printhead is basically the cost of a new printer (although the printers I looked at were closer to $300! Also, my existing printer was already set up to print in worked great on my home network. Well you already know what my solution was. Bottom line. As my title says - ten minutes from opening the box to a working printer! Really easy setup. Turn on the printer, open the Door to access the printhead/ink cartridge assembly, lift the lever, remove old printhead insert new printhead, press lever to latch, insert ink cartridges and close door Moments later I printed a test page of new ink cartridges [these were XL versions and the Thought of throwing them away was just insulting ], and the 4th one that supposedly ran out of ink I have new ink Pulled cartridges out, put 4 in and all was good! Added bonus. in my one "ended cartridge" the ink is still not over! I have a spare set! Will update when I use the printer. I hope this lasts a few more years! Oh and my only regret is that I waited weeks before ordering a replacement print head and of course like many other things on Amazon. The price increases the longer you wait.
