These are original HP toner cartridges

They are exactly as described. The price is very competitive. It's a lot easier to get them through Revain than it is to drive to stationery stores. It was delivered the same day, which is very convenient.

Excellent print quality. In general, all toners are too expensive.

Great print quality Toner is too expensive Tip: When the printer says the toner is low, it often takes 1 to 3 days to finish printing. Seal the LED lamp hole in the cartridge with tape on one side. Stop using if the toner is really gone. Your mileage may vary.

    Stick with genuine toner

I've tried some cheap alternatives with mixed results so I've decided to stick with genuine HP toner. Twice I've used an alternative toner cartridge and my printer started making grinding noises - I really thought my printer was broken, but no, when I put in a new HP toner cartridge the problem went away. Not worth messing around with.

    Good quality cartridges

We have two printers in the office that accept these cartridges. I bought them on other websites but you can't beat the price on Amazon. I've also tried cartridges from other brands, but unfortunately the quality isn't as good and they don't last as long. We're a law firm, so we print a lot of documents and they definitely last a long time.

I had to throw away 3 out of 4!

I bought two double packs of Elect-deals on November 8th, 2019 and less than a year later when I opened the second one it didn't work. I contacted the seller over a month ago and he refused to reply. That's three toners I can't use anymore! Unbelievable! I didn't expect the toners I bought to fail within 11 months of purchase! Is this an unreasonable world?

New toner cartridges will NOT work in your old machine

We bought new 78A toner cartridges ($166) for our great working HP 1606 printer. The printer "does not accept". All contacts with HP, online and by phone, told us"Your printer is out of date, you need to buy a new one". The printer worked fine, just ran out of toner when we bought new toner. This is planned obsolescence and one of the reasons why our landfills are overflowing and the earth is in trouble.

    Pros
    • Great overall performance
    Cons
    • Lots of stuff

HP branded toner cartridges compared to regular toner cartridges.

I have had the HP1606dn copier for a few years now. At first I bought generic branded cartridges but then switched to HP 78A toner cartridges. Compared to original HP 78A cartridges, normal branded cartridges seemed to run out much faster. I suspect generic cartridge manufacturers refill them with less toner powder. Generic manufacturers are worth their money in my opinion. The lower price leads to less good specimens.

    Pros
    • Large selection
    Cons
    • Poorly thought out

    Manufacturer toner, very expensive

The toner works as it should, but I can't recommend it because of the price. Because of this, I switched to a third-party toner. I understand there are some risks associated with using other brands of cartridges, but for the price I could just buy a new printer. A refurbished p1606 printer (the one I use this ink on) costs about this two pack. If a small third party company can make cartridges that sell for $12 each, I'm sure the manufacturer can fetch better prices.

    Pros
    • Few competitors
    Cons
    • Out of fashion

    Toner in two packs.

Two packs save you a few bucks and the boxes fit neatly on a shelf. They break up easily. I stayed away from generic cartridges for two reasons. It's not really a gas station. The HP LaserJet toner cartridge isn't just fresh toner, it's essentially a new machine. The drum in the cartridge is new, while the normal cartridge contains a used drum that has only fresh (?) toner added to it. Anyone familiar with laser printers knows that other brands of laser printers need to replace the drums after…

    Cons
    • There are other interesting options.
