HP branded toner cartridges compared to regular toner cartridges.
I have had an HP1606dn copier for a few years. At first I bought generic branded cartridges but then switched to HP 78A toner cartridges. Compared to original HP 78A cartridges, normal branded cartridges seemed to run out much faster. I suspect generic cartridge manufacturers refill them with less toner powder. Generic manufacturers are worth their money in my opinion. The lower price leads to less good specimens.
- Original HP toner cartridges print an average of 71% more usable pages than toner cartridges from other manufacturers.
