I was a Sagittarius for many years. I don't like DSLRs because I don't like carrying them around. So it was a compromise. Packaging is larger, but full-size. When you pick it up, a love affair begins. I will keep that as a Leica, even if it becomes obsolete over time. The photos I take with him are incredible. The wide format doesn't make people look great unless they're standing on the sidelines or they're skinny like a model. If you're used to seeing yourself at 35mm, this will look good. Otherwise you look chubby. I take it everywhere I think the notion of a "professional" photographer will become obsolete as such cameras become popular. Oh and that: KILL silence. Professionals will want to use them as backups simply because they allow you to take uninterrupted photos during the service. People complain about certain aspects of it. If you want d800. take d800. If you're looking for an amazing camera that lets you ditch most of your other devices and just use the format on offer, give this one a try. I'm not a fan or a paid reviewer. Mine arrived a little "used" and was sold by a "green mountain camera". I still love it and kept it.
