I wanted to extend the cord on my Milwaukee heated sweatshirt so I could carry the battery in my front pocket. I don't know why they put the battery bag on their back like that - you can't sit in a chair without feeling it dig into your ribs. They were perfect for the DC plug. The right angle makes the battery's profile slim, and the 10-inch cable is long enough to reach the front of a hoodie, fit in a left-hand pocket, or carry around in a crossbody bag. I'll probably buy a few more to give to friends and family who use 12v heated clothing this winter. I don't know the gauge of the cord, but it seems enough to deliver DC at full power, it seems not to heat during use. above, but I'll keep an eye on it.
