Review on Quality Particle Sensitivity Detector Analyzer by Ryan Sandell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very poor accuracy

The accuracy of the device is very poor. Readings of 0.3 µm particles can easily reach tens of thousands in our warehouse, with a reported accuracy of one digit. But don't let the reading fool you. I think it's a "scaled" number, not actual precision. When I took it to our little greenhouse with two air filters, it couldn't measure anything. All readings are zero. Meanwhile, our old Dylos monitor can still read particles to the nearest digit. This is probably normal for a relative measure of air quality in typical indoor environments. But don't believe the numbers shown. This is not a real measurement. This is a scaled number.

Pros
  • Check, measure and test
Cons
  • No instructions
