Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Immerse in Rich Walnut-Heightened Audio Experience with PSB Alpha T20 Tower Speaker by Rob Allen

I'd like to step on your toes

I was an 80 year old kid. I remember going to a party once. The Violent Femmes were playing out of these huge speakers in a wooden tower when some moron who had had some alcohol threw one of them at my leg. I really broke a bone. Regardless, floorstanding speakers are as much a symbol of my youth as anything else. While they're not that gigantic or HEAVY, they're sort of a throwback to that era. Nowadays, when everything is getting smaller (think Airpods, MiniCoopers, Tiny Houses), these speakers are undoubtedly present in the room. Which one do I like? Well, sound first. And I'm sorry... I'm not an audiophile. I'm a mom with a huge music collection that I sometimes play when little people go to bed. It's funny that darling Nikki from Prince's Purple Rain album never bothered me and now I make my cat miss her before my kids hear her. what else is good Well, while it's not typical of today's market where everyone seems to want to hide our entertainment gear, be it our giant TVs or surround sound systems, it's still a lot slimmer than its ancestors. Do I find it particularly aesthetic? I'm not, but when you get something like this you commit more to the sound than the style. It's not for everyone. But does any Generation X want to put out New Order or Phil Collins (remember The Air Tonight)? You might want to check it out. Just think about your feet.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging
