I bought this item hoping it can improve the water quality in my aquarium and control the crazy growth of green algae, but the results after using it are very disappointing, it can't do what I want, and the black material (activated charcoal) makes my aquarium filter very dirty, gross and difficult to clean. Eventually I removed them from my aquarium filter and bought a different aquarium filter material. This item is wasting my money！😭
- Packing: 500g aquarium filter material, all biological filter media packed in a zippered mesh bag. Before use, take out the black columnar activated carbon from the mesh bag, pour into the mesh bag, zip up and rinse with water, and then put into the fish tank or filter.
