Bought to replace halogen ovens. 4000K white provides a clear workspace without the harshness of 5000K light. Our hood has a full and dim lighting mode. At full power these bulbs do not flicker and look great. In the dimming position of our Wolf hood, these lamps are dimmed, but they also have a noticeable flicker rate. In a dimmer designed for LEDs, these bulbs may not flicker when dimmed, but they do flicker in our 12 year old oven. The replaced halogen bulbs were shorter and the new LEDs protrude slightly below the base as shown in the picture.
