On the other side of the room it's (only) normal and seems solid enough. The issues I have are color distortion and lack of attention to detail/quality control. The photo appears to wash out the shade of green, but be aware that the farmhouse gray is actually army green. The 1st photo shows a comparison with a real grey-washed piece of furniture. The finish is the worst I've seen on any piece of furniture, including the cheap Walmart stuff we bought when we were poor college students. Chipped edges (detail on the front of the doors) and areas left out of the green finish (stain? varnish?). We redecorated 3 rooms this year, including putting together 8 separate pieces of furniture purchased online from various vendors (none of which cost more than $400 so I understand you get what you get. What do you pay for in this price range? ). This is the only product deemed worthy of the struggle for disassembly, repackaging and return.
