This is a beautiful and durable product. It does what the manufacturer says it's made for. It has an up and down pneumatic shaft that moves approximately 5 inches (127mm) to 8 inches (203mm). The platform can be tilted for more comfortable keyboard use, and the bar prevents the laptop from sliding off the platform. The only concern is for those using a Microsoft Surface with a built-in stand, which can wobble at times, but other laptops don't have this problem.
