USE: 30' Class A Motorhome.Four month update: Sometime shortly after some heavy rains in the area, the camera's waterproofing failed. Condensation got in, resulting in a glitchy, dark picture or no signal at all. I contacted the seller via email regarding the problem and they promptly sent a replacement camera. I will probably add some additional sealant to help prevent future water leaks on this camera on installation. Still, I am impressed and pleased with the great customer support!_________________You can find a nearly endless number of rearview cameras on Ebay and elsewhere with prices and performance all over the map. I had installed a similar unit costing twice as much in our previous motorhome and had found it to be invaluable for monitoring traffic behind me as well as for backup parking the beast. For our new motorhome, I wanted something with a better camera and monitor resolution and after way more research than I cared for, decided on this unit.At this price point, I was impressed with the overall quality of the unit. Packaging was good, if non-descript. Instructions were pretty clear, and the unit comes with everything needed for several different types of installations, which is also nice. It is a simple installation: Mount the camera on the top back of your RV, wire it into the trailer marker lights on the top so that the camera is powered on when your headlights on, then mount the video monitor in your cab and plug it into a lighter socket or hard-wire it into the light switch.Naturally, I bench tested the system BEFORE installing it. I appreciated that the camera and monitor were already paired. Once powered, they worked together instantly. As a test, I put the camera facing out on our back deck and walked the monitor out through the front door on the other side of the house. I got a three bar signal and crystal clear picture through two interior and one exterior walls -- a distance of more than 50 feet. That showed promise.Once installed, I found the road performance to be outstanding. I was really impressed by the clarity, color, and resolution of the monitor. Far better than I had anticipated. There is some slight picture lag, that is, a stuttering of the picture as vehicles or other objects move through the cameras' field of view. It is not bad in my opinion, it is just the price you pay for higher resolution -- there is a lot of data being transmitted wirelessly. If that's an issue for you, I would recommend a unit that is either hard-wired from camera to monitor (not wireless) or a lower resolution system. For me, I will stick with this one as it exceed my expectations. Highly recommended.
