I needed an optical travel mouse and this worked almost perfectly. It feels comfortable and the curved design works better than most standard mice. Most travel mice are too small for my hands, but this one really is perfect. The adapter fits snugly in the floor so it won't get lost when you travel. I do have one small complaint, which is that the mouse is very aggressive with power management, to the point that moving it no longer wakes it up. You have to click first. It's a minor annoyance I'm happy to live with. There's no software for configuring additional buttons in the kit, but I don't mind that.
