Terrible design - external accessories

Installs with the supplied double-sided badge and the badge will fall out after about 24 hours. And yes, I prepared the surface properly. The reason it didn't stick is because of the horrible design of the bottom, I tried sticking it with my own double sided tape but no luck either.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Everything is fine

You will last. maybe

First of all yes I like these emblems, I think they look good. Pros: They are heavy and feel heavy. I've been wearing them longer than yes and they are still shiny and not fading color. They look better than the originals. You can physically change their shape to fit your vehicle. Cons: The glue they use sucks. You can stay if you buy a good pair, unless you have to buy your own cassette to keep them from coming loose.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Long delivery time

You get what you pay for.

I will repeat some other comments. It's from China so doesn't look like it was made with quality in mind. I have a Mazda3 2016. When you remove the stock badge there are two holes underneath. This matches the holes. However, the double sided tape is white and doesn't quite match the emblem so some trimming is required. In addition, there is a curve on the back. It's very thin so if you want to try bending a new emblem go ahead, but it fits pretty well.

Not for hatchbacks but I (sort of) have it

Bought for a 2010 Mazda3 hatchback and I got it there but damn it. I had to fold the emblem differently to fit the contours of the tailgate and I had to trim the tape so it wasn't showing around the edges. Took me over 45 minutes and it definitely didn't turn out perfect, but for only $12 I can live with it. Had I known it was going to be this difficult I wouldn't have bought it and if you have a sunroof I wouldn't recommend it.

Doesn't fit flush/poor glue

You need to buy your own 3m tape or glue as the supplied tape is white and too thick and looks really bad when applied. It's all metal, so you'll have to bend it to fit the curve of your car. It's going to be a pain in the ass because the metal is quite thick so it's difficult to bend the edges. You are probably better off cutting out the original as it is plastic and already has your car's original curve. But if you don't want to mess with the original and don't mind bending, grabbing duct…

According to the product description and packaging matte but very glossy

Product labeled 'matte' but with a glossy surface. The shape of the item does not match the shape of my 2012 Mazda 3, however it is quite easy to bend the legs to make it fit a little better. The tape that came with it doesn't look like car tape, it's not 3M and it doesn't stick well. The ribbon is also very thin and slightly larger than the emblem, but can be cut off. I send it down and apply a few coats of matte black to get the effect I want but with all the work I have to put into it. I…

The glue isn't bad. It stayed on my Mazda 3 hatchback.

I ordered two pieces for the back and the front of my car. After reading the reviews I realized I would have to bend it to match the curvature of the barrel. One broke in half after being adjusted too strong. On the second, however, I climbed onto the back. The glue isn't bad. It's been on my Mazda 3 hatchback for about 3 weeks now and everyone says it looks fantastic. Since I broke the front I just filled it with plastic which actually looks better for the front of the car. The material is not

Rx8. Honest review - exterior accessories

I have an 04 rx8 badge that looks good but it doesn't curve at all so the bottom corners stick out a bit. Anyone who knows the rx8 knows that the trunk barely flexes, the badge is slightly larger than the standard badge on the gut and trunk. The main downside, however, is that the included 3-meter strap is slightly larger and protrudes on the sides. I did my best to crop it a bit before installing it, but it's still a bit visible. If the plaque holds, only time will tell that my main concern…
