Super bright. Needs a little tweaking but works great.
They worked great in my 2005 Honda Element. As some have suggested I had to insert a lightbulb and use needle nose pliers to bend the metal clips so they were tight. At 31mm I didn't have to do that. I have included photos of the interior with all 4 lights (front cards at 31mm and center and rear overheads at 42mm) they use. There is also a photo outside with the doors closed. I have a very dark shade and you can see how light they are.
