Review on 🔦 Pair of 2 Canbus Turn Signal LED Light Bulbs 3157 3057 3357 4157 with Projector, White Yellow Switchback, 22 SMD, for Standard Socket (Not CK), with Load Resistors by Masud Taylor

Fits 2008 Ford Expedition EL in Front Turn Signal/Low Beam. I really had to use resistors to stop the "hyperblink" I've read about. I didn't really care - blinking faster wasn't that bad in my opinion. There were no instructions in the kit - I had to look up how to install resistors on YouTube. As other reviews say, discard the included blue connectors - I used those initially and then one didn't connect properly and the light stopped working properly. As per other reviews but some red ones - they are much better and right size. One end of the resistor is connected to a wire harness on the lamp socket ground wire - in my case it was a dark wire that looked almost black. The other end of the resistor is connected to the "blink current" wire rather than the constant on one. In my case, the middle wire was the constant power supply for the navigation lights, and the wire opposite the outer ground wire was the flashing power. Use the supplied quick connectors to connect. Changing the lamp was easy, plug and play. Make sure you mount the metal resistors on something metal like a frame rail. They get so hot you can't touch them. The good thing is that they only heat up when the turn signal is flashing and not in low beam mode. And honestly, how long do you keep your blinkers on? 2 minutes. then it goes off again. I zipped them to the frame and flashed the turn signal for 10 minutes to see if they would melt on the plastic strap. Even though they were very hot they didn't melt anything so I guess I'm safe with that. The real reason I went with these particular bulbs was because 1. they contained resistors - they didn't need to be bought as an add-on, and 2. they flash amber amber not amber white amber white - they do in turn signal mode turn yellow. yellow off, and after flashing, after a short pause, they light up again with white chases, just how I wanted them. From what I've read, not all lamps work this way. These bulbs are very bright when illuminated with yellow or white light. Fits perfectly to the already installed LED headlights and fog lights. Much brighter than standard bulbs. Would buy again. The photos show one side flashing amber mode and the other side running white chase mode.
