Works straight from the bat (or PCI slot in this case)!

I must have read so many reviews on at least 15 different Wi-Fi modem cards. I was at the point of not buying one! Most had positive reviews, but the negative experiences put me off. After almost two weeks of surfing the Internet, I decided on this device. I went to EDUP's main page, went through the specs, and then watched it on YouTube for more reviews. When everything was fine, I went ahead and shopped. Today I installed a modem in the only remaining slot on my Mini-ATX motherboard (or as the engineers call it these days), an ASUS TUF B-450M Plus Gaming motherboard. Installation was easy. I don't have an additional PCI-E x1 or PCI-E x16 (3.0 each). I only have one PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot left. Aside from being able to comment on Bluetooth (I don't have any extra USB ports on the motherboard and I have no idea how to remap 10-1 COM). contact for use as a power supply), I can tell you about the modem itself: WORKS RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, LIKE A CHARM! Hell, I didn't even have to install a driver to get it working; it just happened. Maybe because I updated the BIOS or because all Microsoft software is up to date; I can not say. I can say it works perfectly! We have a speed of 1.0 GBPS at home. I am approaching this on my other computer. This newly built system didn't have built-in Wi-Fi, which was my choice; I bought a separate map for future updates. I tested today and I got over 500MB/s download, 43MB/s download. And that's with a wall and a second full size bathroom between this machine (in my home office) and the modem. I will give an update in about a month but I think this will work fine. He does what I need. Many Thanks. PS - I have nothing to do with EDUP and I didn't get this article to review (I have no idea HOW this is even done!). I am from a personal entity. I paid for the modem myself. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • βœ…Intel AX200 Chip: The new generation Intel AX200 chip is used in our PCIe wireless LAN network card and supports 2.4GHz/5. 8GHz and 5.8GHz dual-band speed can reach 2400Mbps. In order to get high speed, it is better to use a router that supports AX and uses a 160MHz channel.
Cons
  • The list will be long.
