Review on Bed Stu Womens Orchid Nectar by Jeremy Carpenter

This bag is great, well made and exactly as advertised. It should smell like good leather it's made from, but there's one big problem - there's a horrible chemical smell in the cabin, it's really strong and unpleasant, almost drooling in a confined space. I put the bag wide open outside to hang under the outdoor gazebo and after 24 hours it still stinks of chemicals. I can't use it like this and hope the smell will go away soon. I have many leather bags, shoes and boots and they all smell like good leather. What is the chemical smell? UPDATE 2 days later - I put the Arm & Hammer odor absorber in an open bag that is still hanging open on the outside. The unpleasant odor has dissipated a bit, but it's still there. I'm hoping a few more days on the road will rid me of it completely. I've read a lot and it's probably a chemical used to treat the skin. But I just want to use a damn handbag that smells like real leather or doesn't smell at all!
