This seems like a decent product if you already have the bottle packs and know how to make good purees. At first I could never puree my baby smooth enough, so I switched to baby food jars and pouches. I didn't quite realize how little time babies ate pureed food. It seems that before I could find a solution, my child was eating normal food. She only ate pureed foods for about 4 or 5 months and I couldn't imagine buying a new blender or food processor for such a short time. When I wanted bags, most of the time we didn't have a reliable way to keep food cold for long periods of time, so I used store-bought bags with Infantino spoons. For a time when trying to make my own puree, I used glass ice cube trays or jelly jars to freeze baby food. I just found it easier to use a bowl at home than a bag and it wasn't as wasteful. I still use jam jars to freeze leftovers for my kid as they have good portion sizes. I don't think this system is mandatory if you don't already have bags. Before you buy this I want to make sure your blender or food processor can make a smooth puree.
