Let me start with something you won't find in any review or product information for this item: the left earbud works without the right one, but you can't go right without left. At least not when the case is closed. Leaving the case cover open allows you to use the right earbud while the left one is in the case, but I'm not sure how that affects charging. The left works fine. For me that was an important feature. I have Airpods and 2nd Gen Galaxy Buds and you can use both earbuds completely independently. I listen to podcasts in one ear while I work until the battery dies, then switch to the other. They may never make it, but it's still good to know what you can and can't do with them, as you won't find that anywhere in the specs or professional reviews I've seen. What about the rest? Product? I like the landing. Like the Airpods, they fit perfectly in my ears. I'm not very good with headphones that squelch in my ears. They tend to work their way into my dull ears over time. The sound quality is good. Much louder than the previous generation Ticpods and while I'm not an audiophile they sound fine to me for both music and podcasts. Sometimes the ear detection works. I picked up the phone and put it on the table, then plugged it back in and realized that the 30 minutes of the podcast I was listening to had already passed. Otherwise, the music/podcast will stop immediately. Definitely not as reliable as I would like. I just can't trust this feature so I paused the music. However, I will be returning them as they will not work for the purpose I bought them for. I have no idea if the "Pro" version lets you use both earbuds independently and I hate buying them and then returning them.
