Review on 🚗 Toyota Genuine Accessories - Prius Door Edge Guard PT936-47100-01: Enhancing Protection for Select Prius Models by Scott Galloway

Door Edge Protector (DEG) looks exactly as shown in the photos. It was pretty easy to pound with a rubber mallet, I bought mine from Harbor Freight. I liked the crisp lines in front of the DEG but it still looks good. Also, I'm confident that if I accidentally hit something, I won't break down the real door. Two problems: 1. They don't ship it with installation instructions, the label on the box tells you to go to a Toyota dealer for instructions. It took the parts specialist a while to find it, they filtered the Prius and it didn't fit. He removed this filter and was able to find it.2. The guide included a template to install the DEG in the right place. It has a built in scale and I had to copy it at 102% to get the actual dimensions. I would probably give 5 stars if I didn't have to go to a Toyota dealer for instructions. Probably a marketing ploy to get them to install it, but they wanted too much for this simple task. I went slow and fully installed it a little over an hour after purchasing the hammer, your time may vary.
