I bought this set of blades because I dropped my Wahl clippers, and a few of the teeth on the original top/outer broke off. Upon receiving these new blades, I installed them, oiled them, then fired up the clippers. The new blades made an excruciatingly loud buzzing noise, compared to the normal soft buzzing that is to be expected. The new blades literally sound like the scoreboard buzzer at a basketball game.My bottom/inner blade was fine, so I ended up re-installing original bottom blade and throwing the ceramic bottom blade in the trash. The loud buzzing went away, and it's back to normal.So long story short, if you just need a replacement top/outer blade, this will be fine. If you're trying to replace a dull bottom/inner blade for a sharper cut, I'd stay away from this product and pay the extra $10 for Wahl name-brand OEM replacements.
