I have been looking for a suitable car mount for my phone for many months. I must have spent hundreds and none of them worked. There are three Nexus 6s in my family. These phones are huge (6 inch screens) and have buttons on the long side of the phone. The problem is that most of the mounts on the market have long sides and this often depresses the buttons on my phones. As a result, my phone changes volume or even volume and just turns itself off. This is my second mount, after testing the first on a computer and realizing that this is exactly what I need for the Nexus 6 I got a second one. When purchasing this mount, be careful not to loosen the small plastic tabs that prevent the mount handles from sliding over the mount. I never noticed them on my first mount. Maybe they (rubber clips) weren't included in the kit before and now the manufacturer has updated this mount: this mount works both with rubber clips and without, they just fix the mount handles better and don't slip off. Tip: Use a flat surface for best grip, make sure the suction cup is dust free and slightly damp.
