It was a bit pricey for a TV mount considering I can find something similar in a number of outlets around me could. BUT what drew me the most to this particular vehicle is that it was built specifically for RVs. I just bought a new caravan and wanted to hang the TV on my bedroom wall with a huge sticker that said 'mount LCD TV here'. My issue was that this particular wall was relatively thin and if you are an RV owner you know what building materials are used to build an RV these days. I became increasingly concerned that with a traditional mount designed for long screws you might not be able to achieve the correct eight-dimensional spread needed to hold the TV securely and prevent it from being pulled off the wall . My next attraction to this mount is the fact that it makes it easy to remove the TV from the mount. Two mounts included. I used one indoors and the other is used outdoors. Then I can simply move the television from the inside and mount it outside under the awning. The kids love it. The TV I installed is a 24 inch Insignia Roku TV which fits perfectly. I realize this is a steep price tag for the mount, but it was made specifically for the RV, included two mounts, and was easy to install. He makes a very durable impression. and the TV is held in a safe position, it does not move during transport, which is also a great advantage.
