You cannot tighten and secure the glass shelf. But once you install them, they work great and look great. It would be better if they had a different format for fixing in the glass shelf. Rubber bolts aren't the best. You can only tighten the rubber screws for the time being and not check the sliding of the glass plate, it can still slip out. After a long period of time, these screws can loosen. Instead of rubber bolts I would make pre-drilled holes with rubber inserts and use a bolt and nut that lined up with the rubber insert to hold the glass shelf securely. Leave the nut and bolt on the rubber grommets. Or use a rubber suction screw that pushes against the glass when tightened.
