May warp when tumble dried
This hat fits my 5 year old well, but I'm taking off a star for two things: 1) I would like the brim to be about 1/2 inch wider 2) The brim warped after washing. I suspect the brim thread is cotton and has shrunk, hence the brim is a bit wavy. So if you are washing this hat, I would recommend letting it air dry. It was accidentally put in the dryer. After drying the brim is still not flat like another panama he has.
