Review on 🌿 Premium Unsweetened Organic Pea Protein Powder: Effective Dietary Supplement for Holistic Health by Carl Ferguson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good protein option, shop (+labels)

I bought this from Trader Joes for less than $15. I can't remember the exact price; I know the unsweetened one was a few bucks cheaper than the flavored one. I haven't tried flavors yet. In that sense, this is a pretty good product! That's 18 servings at 20g of protein, so I think there's only 360g of protein in the whole can. In this respect, it seems to be quite cheap for the price in the store. Seems like this isn't the best deal at this Revain price point? But compare to your alternatives and decide for yourself. That's great because the ONLY ingredient is Organic Pea Protein Isolate. No additives, flavors, sweeteners, nothing. Just pure plant protein that you can use however you see fit. MIX: It mixes well. Basically, I tried mixing it with water. It dissolves after a short stirring. I just poured it into a regular glass and used a spoon or fork. I use a large bowl so I don't have to worry as much about the mess while stirring. More water helps too. I don't own any of those fancy shaker bottles so can't comment on that, but I think it might make things easier based on what others have told me about it. they have an unpleasant taste and don't blend as well as some. May depend on your ingredients, but you may need something strong to mask the flavor of the protein. TASTE/TEXTURE: The taste is okay, but let's be honest. It's protein only and not even flavored. It tastes like a tasteless protein powder. However, it is a purely plant-based protein and it works. However, it's not bad for a soft powder. I can get it with no problem, although it's not my favorite flavor. More like taking vitamins than enjoying a pleasant drink. As I said, it mixes well with just stirring, but it seems to me that you have to drink it quickly or it will separate again after a few minutes. The texture was fine when mixed with plain water. Pretty smooth, no frizz. If you want something that tastes great on its own, you might not want it. Flavorless variety. no taste! Haven't tried the flavored variety to comment. My Favorite Use: I've found I need to drink it quickly before it separates. It wasn't a big deal, but it might get a little cloudy and I'd have to stir again. I don't like drinking it on an empty stomach (it seemed odd to me once when I was sparingly eating) so I ate it with food. I preferred to just mix it with plain water so I could drink it (and not worry about it separating) and then eat the food separately. May I recommend? Yes, but only if the above sounds good to you and you think you got a fair price. Personally, I don't buy this protein anymore, but that's because I've decided I prefer a flavored protein powder that's a little more versatile (it can be mixed into my smoothies, for example, or just sipped down). SUMMARY: Ingredients: Organic Pea Protein Isolate. (Ingredient Only!) Servings Per Container: 18 servings with 2 scoops (10g protein per scoop, 20g per serving) Benefits: One ingredient only, organic, dairy-free protein (for those who prefer to avoid dairy), flavor pretty tolerable. . Also, I think the price (at Trader Joe's) might qualify it as a good choice for budget protein powder. nothing to worry about (some people might be ok with that, others might just want to go for a nicer powder), limited usage and versatility compared to other protein powders. Price: I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not. I find it overpriced here at Revain. At Trader Joe's it seemed a lot more reasonable. But if you don't have Trader Joe's, that's probably fine. I would probably compare this to other similar products on Revain first to see if there is a better option.
