I exchanged a narrow but thick high quality stainless steel shelf for this one. They look amazing in the photos so I had high expectations. I was actually planning on customizing them for my coffee bar so they wouldn't sell out. When I pulled them out there was a protective film on the metal which was nice. All parts were solid except for the shelf itself. The shelf was dented and dented and the corners became wavy. I contacted the manufacturer and provided photos and they said some of the imperfections are as is although the dings and dents were not intentional. Both shelves had dents in the same spot meaning they were obviously damaged in the packaging. Anyway I really didn't want to go through the process of sending it back as I had already done most of the installation I expected the manufacturer's response would be that they would send replacement shelves and I wouldn't. I need to refund everything I've already installed. If I had to remove the pieces, the strength of the mouth would break. The company offered no solution other than a full refund upon receipt. So I decided to eat the loss, live with the lack of quality and try to hide the loss. I would not deal with this seller again in the future and certainly would not purchase these shelves or any others from this manufacturer as some imperfections were considered 'part of the process'. I have many stainless steel projects and have never seen shelves with such imperfections and this is considered normal. I will provide photos of what I could not hide but the actual damage is hidden so I cannot get photos for this review. If I find the photos I submitted, I will update my review with those photos as well. The rest of the device was very well made, very robust and modern. I decided to set them up differently to give them a whole level of modernity. If only the shelves weren't so inferior and ruined, or the seller took care of his goods and only changed the shelves (although even then this is doubtful, since waves were considered normal). Too bad they are unique and could be something special, the seller could at least try to make it right with me and get a good review. failure on both counts. The first photo shows "normal" wear along the visible edge. The second photo shows some real damage (debt on the other side). If you look closely you can see the ripples across the entire front visible edge in the third photo. These are new items that look like this. Both shelves as you can see I photographed both blocks.
