Great for walking at night since it has an LED light. Small enough to hook to a beltloop or stick in my coat pocket while walking. I attach it to the handle of my leash, so I can hold the light out while we are walking in the evenings. UPDATE: Works great but after using this a few months, I have a different opinion. Not having it attached to the leash posed a problem because it ended up in coat pockets and always had to be searched for before a walk. We decided to hook it to the leash. If the flashlight is going to be effective, it has to be attached to the handle of the leash. Being heavier than most doggie bag holders due to the handy flashlight, it is also awkward. It attaches on its end and while we are walking, it swings back and forth, banging into my hand and it hurts. I decided to attach it to a large caribeaner so it would dangle further from my hand. This worked until the leash fell off it's hook in the house. The holder hit the tile floor and shattered. Based on the heaviness and the fragility of the holder, I don't think I will replace it.
