Review on Americanflat 12X18 Black Picture Frame by Emily Morris

Very poor quality. I almost gave it 3 stars considering I was shipped an odd sized frame for only $20 but they used words like "high quality" and "very durable" in the product description and then sent me something, falling apart so they only get 2 stars. The first thing I noticed upon unboxing was how dirty they were. They don't bother wiping sawdust off their products before packaging them. The glass was also quite dirty. Then I noticed that the gussets were loose. Nothing was holding the corners together except a metal clip (for lack of a better word). I ordered 2 of these frames, that's 8 corners, 1 of the 8 corners was glued, the rest bent with difficulty, leaving gaps at the joints of the bar in each corner. I decided that instead of messing around with the return, I would stick them on myself. Using a paperclip I applied carpenter's glue to the gaps in each corner and when the glue was dry, clamped them and tied the frame tightly with rope at 4 points. I then wiped off the excess glue with a damp paper towel. I would only recommend this product if you don't mind completing the production process yourself. I also wonder why the brand is called AmericanFlat, but there is a "Made in Poland" sticker on the back.
