There is no sound through the auxiliary cable. Connected to my phone's Bluetooth, but my TV is what it was for, so it didn't do me any good. The sound quality is okay. Not the best even for the price. Not scary. But not very good either. The bass boost was better than nothing, but it was too much for some songs. The sound was also a bit flat. Although it didn't work with the TV, I certainly tried my phone a bit to decide if I needed a replacement. Not me. If you're looking for an inexpensive soundbar for your TV or computer, get the Bose TV Speaker (yes, it's a soundbar) for $250. Excellent quality for the price in a compact form factor. Shockingly good base for this size. Get this instead.
