Fantastic soumdbar for speakers

Installation took a little longer than expected. The instructions for some TVs recommend using both an HDMI cable (not included) and an optical cable (included). For me it only worked with optics. The different modes - Stereo, Standard, Movie and Game - are incredibly different. The sound is saturated, sounds that are not transmitted through the TV speakers can be heard. 100 percent worth the money. Listen to this Skyrim intro.

I bought this soundbar for my laptop.

Oh my god I made the right decision. I don't always turn the music up loud; I like it as a backdrop while doing other things. But I want good accuracy, especially when it's low. It seems to be exactly what I wanted and needed. OK, I admit it; I played them in loud mode, but never had to increase the volume above 70% on the soundbar, 62% on the master volume, and 48% on the input source. I forgot music could sound so good! Also great for games. Don't get me wrong I have Denon amps and Kef…

Great soundbar for the price, easy to install

I installed two of these units. First on Samsung TV with HDMI arch. Easy installation, everything went perfectly with my xfinity remote volume control sync. On my other Samsung TV I had to use an optical connection. In order for my xfinity remote to control the Yamaha soundbar, I had to press the setup button, type 992, and then use the channel button until the soundbar turned off. Press the setting button again to set the code. My Xfinity remote now controls the soundbar. Hope that helps…

True quality for a small unit

I bought this for my kitchen TV because the internal speakers were terrible. Since the set is smaller, I didn't need a large soundbar with a subwoofer. I just needed something small. There are smaller devices for less than $100, but they are primarily intended for laptops and tablets. And the reviews were terrible. I compared the sound with a transistor radio. The next price level appeared to be under $200. I really didn't want to spend that much. But I knew I would be disappointed if I went…

I have the wrong block.

There is no sound through the auxiliary cable. Connected to my phone's Bluetooth, but my TV is what it was for, so it didn't do me any good. The sound quality is okay. Not the best even for the price. Not scary. But not very good either. The bass boost was better than nothing, but it was too much for some songs. The sound was also a bit flat. Although it didn't work with the TV, I certainly tried my phone a bit to decide if I needed a replacement. Not me. If you're looking for an inexpensive…

TV sounds much better now

Flat screen TVs have the worst speakers. Is always. Thankfully, this little soundbar is here to help. We have a 24 inch TV in our room and this little bar is small so it doesn't overshadow the TV or take up too much dresser space. And it's not just 2 small speakers tucked into a very large piece of plastic like many soundbars do. After all, it has tweeters and "bass speakers". Well, they're not great woofers, but they at least offer better sound throw compared to most soundbars I've used. The…

Livens up my 40 " Samsung TV

Fits my 6 year old 40" Samsung TV. My TV didn't have an ARC connection, but I was able to follow the SR-C20A's instructions with both an optical cable and an HDMI cable (my TV has an optical port and 2 HDMI ports, one of which was already used) . . I renewed the optical cable. Supplied but looks very cheap. I also bought an HDMI cable (not included). It took me a few minutes to figure out that after turning the panel on I had to press the 'optical' button on the remote for the sound to work…
