Because of the battery life you can charge it every morning otherwise you want it to die the next night when the kids are hardly sleeping and you turn it on to repeatedly say "Battery is low please charge" as a last resort. Extremely poor battery life and a 6 hour charge for a couple of hours makes this a terrible product.
