does not work with audio and video accessory

Bought for my 2012 Audi A4 and it didn't fit. He said it would work with my car but it didn't. I read the reviews and saw that another customer bought it for their car of the same make, model and year and it worked. My Bluetooth connection would not even turn on. could have been defective, not sure. sent back.
