In general, I liked the disk. I bought 2; I plan to take 2 more to expand my home NAS. When using at home, noise performance must be taken into account, especially if a quiet system is being built, this disk (or their array) can become the most noisy part like mine :) Its pros: a fast server disk with a large resource for intensive file exchange tasks with a 5-year warranty, a good price / performance ratio. Got cons: noise according to the WD specification is 31-34 dB, which cannot be called comfortable for home use, other (desktop) WD 25-28 are practically inaudible, only when fully loaded, the same disk is heard when idle, and during operation, an obvious "chirping" is heard when writing to disk, when reading not so much.
