Buckles or cheek pads near the eyes of stubborn horses
Pretty bridle. My Panzer Quarter Horse (15:2 hh) has a deep head with forehead pressed against chin. The buckles were too close to his eyes, as were the straps on either side. It was low enough on his nose to hook his nose and cheeks at the longest setting. I really wanted to love him, he didn't fit at all. With every tug on the reins, he squirmed around and caught him in the eye. For a narrower horse, that would be great.
