Looks good until you actually use it.

What I don't like is that despite multiple adjustments, the buckles on the side of the face put pressure on the eyes when lifting. Suitable for my very large gelding at rest but not under any pressure. Full crap :(

AMAZING QUALITY - Other Sports

This bitless bridle is the best. Free adjustments and a perfect fit for my horse. Did 8 miles today and she coped amazingly. My mare is trained. I used a light Argentinian racquet on it. This bridle worked amazingly. Update used a few times, great fit, lots of compliments.

Wonderful bridle! for bridles and accessories

I rode my mare in Little S Hackamore and wanted to ride without a bridle and without mechanical brakes. I bought it and was immediately impressed. It's beautiful and very well made. It looks great on my horse and since I bought mine two of my friends have bought it too! They look great on every horse I've seen them on and they work great too. I love it and it's a great deal for the price knowing it's a bridle for life.

Buckles or cheek pads near the eyes of stubborn horses

Pretty bridle. My Panzer Quarter Horse (15:2 hh) has a deep head with forehead pressed against chin. The buckles were too close to his eyes, as were the straps on either side. It was low enough on his nose to hook his nose and cheeks at the longest setting. I really wanted to love him, he didn't fit at all. With every tug on the reins, he squirmed around and caught him in the eye. For a narrower horse, that would be great.

good design but best in sporty style

Leather is too thick, wide and stiff. The reins are practically unusable, they cannot be mounted with one hand - they are too thick and hard. They will not be given. I ended up soaking them in a container of foot oil and spending a couple of days applying more coats to the headset. I have another similarly designed headset that is much thinner, softer and lighter and I like it better. At least the nose was changed from hard nylon, rubbing the wound in 10 minutes, to a softer one. I don't get…

Buckles and eyelets on the snaffles

I was so excited when I discovered this side cable. I'm concerned about the side pull of the rope coming loose and figured this would be the perfect hybrid. And it would be perfect if he had another strap under his jaw to hold it in place. It is well made and appears to be a quality product from Weaver. Unfortunately, when I put it on my horse and adjusted it, the buckles were exactly parallel to his eyes. If he had slipped at all, the buckles would have caught him in the eye. See photo. Seems…

The perfect starting position for a young horse!

I saw Justin Dunn using this at the 2016 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo in Denver and thought I should get one for my horses. Other side pulls I've tried in the past have a really tough, tough, rawhide nose piece that can rub noses a bit. I liked that this headstand could replace softer rope tips (but at $20 for an arch rope, I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon!). I used this headstand as an improvement over using a rope halter while saddleing some of my young Rocky Mountain horses. This…

The best bridle!

I cannot recommend this bridle enough. I switched to bitless riding because I care for my horse and I personally don't like having a metal bar in his mouth for hours, so why should my horse?! When I first became a snaffleless bridle I bought a used side pull bridle from Craigslist to try first before investing in it. After trying this my horse responded the same as with the snaffle and was VERY soft. (FYI - don't go for bitless bridles that cross over and pinch or tighten the horse's nose!) My…
