I have a Dell 3440 laptop and this helps port replicator. It's a little disheartening that laptops have gotten rid of the bottom docking station and are forced to use it with the USB cable and power cord plugged in to keep the charge going. I just feel that with the number of "docks" and connections between home and office, the power connector on the laptop is getting worn out. Basically, the device works perfectly. It was a bit difficult to set up the monitors the way I wanted; as it works as a triple monitor configuration when using your laptop display as a third display. That's cool, but it only shows one of the other two monitors, or it turns off entirely. Turning it off completely allowed me to get the resolution on the other two displays the way I wanted. Also, make sure you turn off the power saver mode when you turn it on, otherwise the system will freeze and you'll have no other option to restore your displays other than turning off the device.
