Review on Eco-Friendly Bike Chain Lube: Petroleum and Teflon Free, 4oz of Natural Lanolin Lubricant for Optimal Cycling Performance in Any Weather Conditions by Matthew Aiono

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Aside from the muscles to open the jar, it was very easy.

As a 4 mile road rider, it was important to me to have a lube that was light and easy to apply without getting my hands dirty, and also as a fruit-and-nut, I wanted something good for the environment. The directions are short. Clean chain. I cleaned the chain (using an eco-friendly cleaner of course) and then let it dry. I haven't seen such a shiny chain or sprocket since I bought the bike. Next apply lubricant. Since I have internal derailleurs I decided to get the cogs wet as much as possible and then wet the brush and hold it down while I pedal a bit. Five minutes and a quick drive later, everything was smooth and easy.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are some nuances
