I bought these for wearing under white breeches (for horseback riding), and they work great. By the size chart, I am right between a Medium and a Large--however, based on other reviews, I bought a size Small. This is great for my purposes, which is some mild compression and a smooth, skin tight fit with no wrinkles (sizing down may not be super flattering if you intended to wear them on their own--and the Nude color in this size is absolutely see-through, so there is no way I could wear them as pants on their own). They fit snugly enough that I am able to get my white breeches (Equestly) on over them with no riding up, lumps, seams, or wrinkles showing. It really doesn't look like there's anything underneath the breeches with these on. They are also very slightly sheer so that the breeches slide over them without too much friction, but they're not at all slippery or shiny. They mostly (but not entirely) hide slight panty lines, but seem like they would also be comfortable to wear under breeches without underwear. I was slightly dreading wearing these new white breeches at an upcoming competition, but now I'm looking forward to it!
