* Mac M1 users read * Soho Hub is equipped with HDMI 2.0b, Display Port 1.4 and USB-A with a bandwidth of 10 Gbps. Simply put, this hub has updated ports that I couldn't find anywhere else, including Thunderbolt docks. I came to this conclusion after looking at hubs offered by Anker, Ravpower, and even the Caldigit TS3+ docking station for several hours. This is a great mobile solution for Mac M1 users PLUS the current solution for running multiple displays on the M1 involves the use of "Displaylink" technology. (Most working adapters, such as StarTech.com's USB-A to Dual Display 1.4 Ports, operate over a USB-A connection). Overall, if this device was Thunderbolt capable, it would be the best product out there; However, if you can live without Thunderbolt capability, this is the best solution. Finally, since USB-A runs at 10 Gb/s (which no other hub has), it can easily be expanded to multiple ports. I changed my original device because the display port was slightly bent. Check your ports from the package as the device is not cheap.
